It's true- pastels can be wretched. When used a certain way, they can turn a home into a gag-inducing girly mess or a country scene out of an old Laura Ashley catalog. But when done well, pastels can be clean, cheerful, retro, and just the right amount of feminine. Maybe it's just the time of year, but I'm starting to think I might need some more sky blues and powdery pinks around our home...
